I have stayed here numerous times. I have tried other places, but have always checked out and moved here after one night. Always very friendly and helpful here. The facilities are all that you need despite being a little long in the tooth in some spots. The swimming pool on the roof is small but perfect for cooling down with a drink and a view after an MBK run. It is a little way down a side Soi, but at the end of the soi is a buzzer to press and summons the red tuk tuk.
Unique Qualities: The situation is great, it is a quiet little spot right near all the really fancy hotels, but quiter and really relaxed. The pleasant staff can arrange most anything for you, and yet are not sycophantic like so many hotel staff. Prices are good, even for the minibar. ( Maybe to save you using the free tuk tuk to get to the convenience store!).
