Travelling in a Overland Truck with 14 other passengers,a driver, a cook and a tour leader, we covered nearly 3000 miles on dusty tracks through some amazing scenery. The country offers interesting history, diverse lanscapes, fascinating cultures and some of the best game viewing in Africa.

Etosha National Park offer some of the best wildlife experiences in Africa and is a must on any itinerary.

Much of Namibia is covered with sand, and although the raod conditions are surprisingly good (mostly unsurfaced tracks), driving days can be long and sometimes the scenery doesn't change much from sand, sand and sand. Oh, and did I mention sand? It doesn't offer any shade for pcinics or rest stops, and temperatures can reach 45 degrees C in the heat of the day.
