It was a long way to Djendi village and we all found the journey rather tiring. Turning off the main highway between Kara and Sokode, we seemed to be bouncing along a very bumpy track for an eternity before we got to this village. Was it worth it? I am not sure. We were all tired and maybe we didn’t pay as much attention to the culture as we may have done. Anyway, here is the story behind the Kotokoli people of Togo. |
