"A world full of elephants" Chobe National Park by grets
Chobe National Park Travel Guide: 97 reviews and 384 photos
Chobe National Park is the second largest such park in Botswana, and covers an area of nearly 11,000 square kilometers.
Chobe has one of the greatest concentration of game anywhere in Africa, and is particularly famous for its enormous herds of elephants. Although these animals are migratory, numbers of up to 100,000 elephants are believed to be in the park at any one time.
Many other species are found here, including enormous herds of buffalo and an impressive array of birds.
Most of my tips are an excerpt from the diary I wrote at the time.

nice safari destination - Botswana! You are so lucky you visited all these places...hope the medicine's working (travel malady, hehehe...). I need some medicine too! Norman :)
Great page! Thank you for sharing.
Heard it difficult to see all the big five animals on one trip. Elephants and hippos are nice. Cool page. Cheers, SL
This park seems to be a fantastic place. I love your pictures.
If I ever get to visit Botswana, I will remember what you've said about Chobe and the enormous herds of animals--I'd love to see the elephants.
Check the waterhole link on TWC's South Africa page. If you haven't seen this before, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. leyle
Grete how wonderful to make a cruise at the Chobe River ! We camped along the same river. The hugest herd of buffalos I ever saw, was here in the Chobe Park ! You stayed in a lovely lodge, good tip for the next time !

I would like to be in Kubu Lodge now, ready for Safari Drive and Sundowner Cruise! Wow, great tips!
