A beautifully scenic setting on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown is the adrenaline capital of the South Island. If you are into adventure sports, extreme sports or just normal gentle outdoor activities, you can find it here, in winter as in summer.
Skiing is the obvious winter activity and in summer you can take part in a variety of heart-stopping pursuits: white water rafting, parapenting, sky diving, je boating, bungy jumping, boogey boarding, white water sledging, parachute jumping, but to name a few.
