"Sif" a Sif Travel Page by grets

The small town of Sif is the centre of the Wadi Doan. Many people from the village have gone off to work overseas, in places such as Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia and Saudi Arabia, returning to their hometown with money to start restoration and painting of their old homes.

There are still some homes in need of some tender loving care, but generally it is one of the tidier towns we see in Yemen.
