"Peninsula de Osa" Puerto Jiménez by grets

My idea of paradise

The last stop on our tour of Costa Rica was the Peninsula de Osa.

After a flight from San Jose in a small aircraft to Puerto Jimenez, we were transferred to an eco-lodge on the very tip of the Osa peninsula where we were to spend a few days.

The lodge provided everything we needed, wanted and much more, and whenever someone mentions the word "excotic", this is where I picture.

The area is full of wildlife, with monkeys swinging through the trees of the lodge grounds in the evening.

I apologise for the quality of the photographs on all my Costa Rica pages - unfortunately I lost my main camera on the flight on the way over, so all I had was a small waterproof camera with a wide angle lens. Some of these photos are taken from David's video.

Amazing place. Must be exciting to be up high in the jungle canopy. Truly tropicana exotica. Cheers, SL :)

Bosque is now up to 500 acres and even more beautiful. Interesting....a brit that is not a horse rider. Sounds like a pretty uncomfortable ride.

Very interesting page. This sounds like my kind of place.
