We took the train from Cuzco and traversed the Andes to arrive at Juliaca on the shores of Lake Titicaca. The train journey passed through some stunning scenery and past fascinating villages. The trip was meant to take some five to six hours, but due to a faulty coupling pin, it took eleven hours. It therfore became a bit of an ordeal towards the end.
