The main reason for coming to Ica was to see the Nazca Lines. We did enjoy our stay though and made the most of the short time we had here.

Ica is on the coast and is famous for its enormous sand dunes. I must admit, when I think of sand dunes, my first thought would go to the Sahara, not Peru.

yes I know what you mean sand dunes, Sahara.....yeah right, Peru is surprisingly versatil and Montezuma's revenge just around the corner ^..^. interesting page with wonderful write up and pics, tks for sharing

Ouch, I could almost feel the pain and the queesy stomach. You are very good at discribing your adventures. Peru is on my must see list because of its birds.
