Regensburg is my native, my love. Even travelling my whole live and seeing a lot of cities. I never found a city like Regensburg again. It is a small city founded about 2000 years ago by the romans. It situated at river danube (Donau) and marks its northern most point. So when Goethe wrote Regensburg would be the northern most city of Italy. I am the last one to tell he was wrong. If you come to Germany go to Bavaria anf in Bavaria visit Regensburg with the highest pub rate in Germany (ok we have a battle with Dresden about this)
, its hugh amount of students and night live, historical buildings and the beautifull river valley. So if you come there, connact me and we might have a cool beer in a beer garden. :-) |
