"First trip to Italy" a Venice Travel Page by smschley

This was our first trip to Italy, but luckily we went to other cities on other trips otherwise I would be judging Italy by my experience in Venice. I found the people there to be the rudest group of any city I have ever visited. They make the Parisians and the Muscovites look downright friendly. I won’t bore you with all the individual details except for the last one. There was a problem with my Eurail ticket so I went to the Eurail office and explained my problem. The man behind the counter listened, told me to go away, and left the office with me inside. Murano Island is a different story. Just a short boat ride away the people were very friendly and helpful, wish I knew what made the difference.
