I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel's sake. The great affair is to move.

Steve & Yuliya in Paris

by smschley - last update: Jun 27, 2004

Returning to the city

The first time we traveled to Paris was in the Spring of 2001. After all I had heard of the French I was extremely apprehensive about traveling to Paris. We found the city to be one of constant adventure. While the people are not friendly in the American sense, they are not as rude as I expected. Of all the cities I have ever been to, Paris is the one that I have enjoyed the most.

Very comprehensive tips on Paris. You know the history of the city very well. I thought the Sewer Museum was interesting though probably because I had just read Les Miserables which features a long escape scene through the Paris sewers.

Great documented tips. What is the secret with your photos? Polarizer? Positive film? Or? :) Very curious..

You have to learn to leave your furs at home. LOL. Great pages. Ma Kettle and I are going to Paris in June. Thanks for the advance peek. Pa

Love your pics on Rodin and Pere Lachaise! Two of my favorite places in Paris! Happy travels 2006!
