Tombs of the Kings Travel Guide: 6 reviews and 18 photos
No trip to Paphos is complete without a visit to the Tombs of the Kings, they are incredible.
Set in a wide open space the underground Tombs date back to the 3rd century BC.They are set into eight different tomb complexes, some are underground while the others have been dug out of the sandstone.
You could spend all day here its fascinating with the views out over the sea and the gorgeous flowers growing around the Tombs
- Pros:Fascinating history.
- Cons:Lots of walking and steps.
- In a nutshell:Well worth a visit.

They can be step, but providing you are not elderly, infirm or very young are not a problem. I managed wearing clarkes toe posts!
How did I miss those tombs when I was in Paphos? Maybe because I was working most of the time, visiting English Language Schools! Maybe next time?
these tombs look fascinating, I cant wait to visit Cyprus
Lucky you to have seen this amazing place! I almost made it to Cyprus once but decided on Tunisia instead. Never knew that these tombs existed till now!
