Soave as a base for exploring Veneto Soave is a small and picturesque medieval walled town located right off A4 between Verona and Vicenza. There is railroad access in nearby San Bonifacio. We used Soave as a base for exploring the Veneto region by car and rail.
The town is quite small and can be explored by foot in a half day or more. Above the town is Soave Castle, and surrounding the town are miles and miles of vineyards. This is where the famous Soave white wine is produced. |
