Before the trip I was looking for an affordable accommodation at a good location not far from the center. The task was difficult because everything in the center seemed too expensive and I wanted to find a double room under 100 E per night. The best choice seemed to be around Mariahilferstrasse, for the location and also for the good price. I chose Pension Continental that cost 82 E per night for a double room, including breakfast. The pension is located above shops and offices (there is an elevator), it is family run and the staff is VERY helpful in every matter and makes you feel really comfortable. The breakfast was great with choice of breads, cheeses, sausages, eggs, vegetables, cerials, yoghurt...The Neubaugasse metro station is 50 meters distance. There is a choice of restaurants nearby - also cheap ones. The only bad thing was that we had a flooding in our room from the central heating after two nights and had to move to another room. But it was a bit funny too. Luckily we were in the room when it happened! And we learned something from it for the future: never leave luggage on the floor in hotel rooms in case there will be a flooding! Luckily nothing happened to our luggage as we were there to rescue it, but what could have happened if we had been out...

Unique Qualities: There is a WiFi connection in the lobby and the nearby rooms. There is a laptop with Internet for the use of the guests.
