Favorite Thing: Ilha Berlenga is 10 km offshore and just visible from Peniche. It is like a dreamlike place, like an island transported from the north to warmer climate. It is only 2 and half square km and the largest island of a tiny archipelago. It has coastline grottoes, miniature fjords and special rock formations. It is a home for thousands of sea birds.
The place is full of beauty and there is no way to describe it besides the pictures I have put on this site.

Fondest Memory: The sea, the birds, the walk around and the wonderful fish meal at the restaurant!
