    • At turismo you can buy a certificate that states that you have been at the most western point of the European continent. A certificate costs 10 or 15 Euro depending on which kind you chose. I would say it is much better to have your photo taken there.
    This reminds me of Nordkapp in Norway, the most northern point in the European continent. Most of the local people haven't even visited there because they don't understand what all the fuss is about...
    Does anyone know what is the most southern point of the European continent? Or the most eastern? If you do, please let me know.

     Bambino36 and I have been discussing this. Slea Head in Ireland is the most westerly (some say) and Cabo Roca most westerly of the continental part of Europe!! Nice pics!    		bambino36 Sun Oct 17, 2004 19:54 UTC
     Yup... never been there either. Anyway I used to pass westerly on the part you say is what begins :)
