We left Colares on the morning of the 27th of September , visited Cabo da Roca and made Cascais our last stop before returning to Lisbon (where we were to spent three more days before flying home)and ending our two week tour by car.
Cascais is beautiful! It is a popular resort with hotels and beaches.The port has fishermen with their nets and the catch of the day. There are many shops and restaurants. We walked around, went to a cafe and found some stalls by the beach promenade which sold things much cheaper than in shops. It was time to buy some presents to bring home. There was a stall with shells and other sea items and another one with clothes, table clothes and towels etc. The sea views were beautiful. Cascais is a good place to stay for those who don't want to stay in Lisbon.
