    • Many tourists come only to the beaches of Algarve which is understandable when you see them. (But still, you should see other places too!) They are so beautiful and clean and there are many of them. This one is Praia Dona Ana. We stayed in the hotel Sol e Praia 50 meters from the beach with wonderful views from our balcony.

    • On the second day in Lagos we went on a cruise to see some beautiful grottoes. There are several stalls by the marina that sell these cruises and cruises to Sagres or dolphin watching or big game fishing. The company we chose was Espadarte do Sul and the boat (in the picture) was called Noel. The cruise took 1.5 hours and cost 10 Euro per person. The cruise was great. We went
    inside the grottoes with a smaller boat. Don't forget to take some bread with you to feed
    the seagulls.

    Directions: Look for the stalls on the seafront road facing marina or by the marina itself.

     Lovely Lagos page Sirpa. We were there a few years ago. I remember all the pottery shops there. The grottos look beautiful. Lizzards in the liquer - Ewww!
