And here we were, finally at Garda lake after many years of planning. How did all this happen? The story goes back to many things. The most recent of them being me winning a free ticket to Finland from any European destination (Finnair doesn't fly to Israel) at the Independence Day party by the Finnish Embassador in Hertzeliya. We chose to fly via Italy and visit relatives in Trieste.
We stayed in Sirmione for two nights and on our full day there we drove all around the lake. We continued from Sirmione to Trieste via Verona.
