I loved Napoli! It is very chaotic, but the chaos here is very entertaining - well at least when you are a tourist and don't have to live it daily!Crossing a street on a zebra crossing (or anywhere else) is very risky. Cars just don't care about you! The zebra crossings seem to be only for decoration (street art) there.
We had a full day in Napoli. What we did was:
Took a taxi from the port to the train station (beware the taxi drivers!) and from there a train to
Pompei. After walking around and seeing maybe a quarter of the site or even less (it is really big!) we returned to the town, took a metro to
the Archeaological museum which we really enjoyed after we had pizzas at the local pizzeria - not a touristy place. From there we walked back to the ship via
narrow streets close to the university. What was really amazing was how many book and music shops Napoli has! I have never seen so many shops for musical instruments!
