I woke up early to catch the backpacker train which was freezzing cold.No heater. Wear your downjacket and wear layers. Got off the train and walked to hotel in Aguas Calinte. I went to the ticket booth to buy my bus ride to MP.The bus ride path is on very narrow windy turns an adventure in its self. Entereing Machu Picchu is another adventure. It was sunny then turn cloudy the next hour then started to drizzle the next hour then rain. This was my free day of of tour. The next day was very sunny and no rain. |

| | The Sacred Stone in Machu Picchu The Sacred Stone is supposed to have magnetic energy. You are supposed to feel the energy when you touch the Stone. I saw many tour guides have there travelers touch with both hands and press there foreheads against the stone. They said you must focus, concentrate and have faith.
The Sacred Stone is near the entrance to Wayne Picchu which I climbed. Its about and hour up on small steep steps with a small cave area you must go down and in and up and out. |
