Sighisoara is nearly three hundred kms from the city of Bucharest and is a UNESCO world heritage sight. It is set beautifully above the Tarnava Mare River. One can walk through the cobblestoned streets admiring the beautiful 16th century Saxon houses,the hotels and numerous restaurants. One cannot miss the shops and stalls selling wonderful handmade souvenirs,arts and crafts and also shops selling antiques. |
