Montecatini Val di Cecina is 43km away from San Gimignano and 16km away from Volterra. It is a typical medieval village situated on a hill top. We arrived early afternoon. The village was very quiet with only a few people wandering in the streets. We enjoyed the beautiful landscape around us.
