My Hometown

This is the town where I was born and come back to stay (parents still here). it's only a very small town located 1 and half hr drive from Perth.

It is your typical small australian town. Pretty much everyone knows everyone . It's full of Holdens and Fords.

Pinjarra has pretty much one main street. Where all deli's ,PO, new agents etc can be found. There are 2 pubs the Exchange and the Premier hotel. they are alright to go to. Sometimes their is a band playing.Local hang out.

Pinjarra is known for it's horse races and trots. The town is invaded with out of towners for the Pinjarra Cup at the beginning of the year.

Their is a lot of heritage in the town with the . Just looking at some of the buildings , which have been around for over 50 years.

Pinjarra is a good pitstop if you are tavelling to margaret River. Have a few cafes and restaurants also fish and chips. Fast food wise we have "chooks"

One place which is beautiful is the lookout it is located up the hills behind Alcoa. You get the view of the township and Mandurah and the ocean can be seen from up there.
