What to say about me? I live in a small central European country you probably never heard about or you look (in vain) for Bratislava in it :-) Not surprising that two countries are so often confused as they have similar names, similar flags and very similar languageas are spoken in them. Actually this is gradually changing as Slovenia entered (as well as Slovakia) EU in 2004 and freshly introduced cheap easyJet flights have attracted many European visitors.
I live in Slovenia's capital Ljubljana, in one of its rural eastern suburbs, to be more precise. Some people refer it as "the little Prague". Well, there is one fundamental difference. You don't need a chainsaw or nerve gas to stroll along its streets and admire its beauty :-)
I don't like to publish my personal data. If you're interested in it, just contact me and I'll telly ou more about me. I speak Slovenian (hmmm, how come?), српски and hrvatski for historical reasons, English (you judge it), Deutsch, русский язык, a bit of français and español. I even understand (although I never learnt them) most other Slavic languages, even polski. And as you'll notice, I can even read Հայերէն script but I don't understand most of read texts :-) At the moment I'm just picking up basics of عربية, Syrian dialect, to be more precise, as that part of the world is at the top of my wishlist. Hopefully I'll learn more tricks about right to left scripts in computer scince soon...
Recently I returned from very fascinating Armenia and posted some remarks that the others haven't. You will find more about its sights in Wikipedia, either
English or in
Slovenian.
If you have any missing (Geghard, where my camera's bateries betrayed me, is at the top of my wishlist) or better photos you are welcome to add them. And if you'd like to add/correct something, feel free to do so, it's the point of Wikipedia.
