When I was in the age of 15, my secondary school's teacher organize a so called holiday package to 1 of the local famous island trip. I being the 1 among the group of 40 peoples. A long journey took about 4 hour plus because no highways at that time. Now, this is my 2rd visit. It was a school holidays. The whole island full of couples. Luckly I'm able to make a room booking thru 1 of my friend staying there. I was there on the August 03 and Dec 03. Why? the 2nd time I'm become the tour leader....:)
Actually, 2 days is more than enough for you to get around the island. There is another small island call Pangkor Laut which is the private island located beside the Pangkor Island. Apart of that is called Marina Bay....the most expensive spending I ever heard. 1 night stay can up to RM20K. Heard from 1 of the resident. Believe it or not?
For those who are interested to get a budget hotel and resort, you may contact me. I would say is a good place to holiday. A 3room apartment resort full of facilities is only cost you RM220.
For a family trip, you may stay up to 10. An extra bed will be provide....provided you know me...:)
Fishing, snorkling and jungle tracking is another good spot you may consider.
