cenotes or nature wells have been around since forever.

this was taken in the cenote looking out towards the opening. its steep climb down so be careful. good photo ops if you want to take pictures of the stalactites and bats (eek!).

this is located in the city center. it was very hot that day so i took this inside our rental car.

so much of valladolid reminds me of the philippines and its provinces - spanish style churches, gated houses, the streets and mini-convenience stores

i have no idea if this is really a market but it is situated right in the city center where there are so many vendors and shoppers.
