To Kota Tinggi via coach

From Johore Bahru, we took a bus all the way to Kota Tinggi. Take bus no. 43 (Lombong / waterfalls) from Transit Link bus bay 1 and ticket is bought on the bus itself. It took apprx. 1.5 hours to reach.

Sungei Pelepah is located near the skirt of Kota Tinggi, Johore where people love to go there for trekking.

The Large waterfall

There are 3 large waterfalls, several small ones and a very small cave along the river. The main waterfall, which consists of 3 large waterfalls (exactly where I am standing in the pic) forming a series of cascades, has a total height of more than 80metres. I had problems and almost slipped my way down..foooo!!

The Small Cave

Behind us is where the small waterfall that come with a small cave that you can swim into it and stand inside. When the water level is high, the entrance to the cave might be submerged. But when the water level is lower, one can just walk through the waterfall to enter the small cave. Interesting huh!!!
