Looking through some websites, I was inspired to try my hand on putting up pictures of my own. I think it looks kinda cool having to share your personal and travelling experiences! Dunno how to start.. but I managed to get this up first by chance!
A bit about where I come from. During this time, I was with the Rangoonians Institution located at Rangoon Road, Singapore. The exact name of this institution was Rangoon Road Secondary School. It has been quite sometimes now and too bad the institution is gone ! What left is only memory of yester~~~~years. I really treasure ALL moments I had during that time and one thingy for sure, it makes me what I am now!! This picture was taken with 3 of my best buddies from left Azman, Yunus, Farizal and myself.
By the way, this is the most memoriable place where the staircase lead to the school Band and Art room. A lot of thingy has taken place....only those who knew.........knows how the story goes...... |
| My beloved "Sandy" - the accoustic guitar! |
| | My solo performance.. This was my solo performance during "Teacher's Day" in Rangoon. If I can still recall, I sang a song from Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonite. Something to "confess"...please refer to fazahar website from our also VT memberzs...that guy used to be my "music teacher"!! Used to learn few guitar tricks from him and the rest is of course up to me!! |
The B@ss Player Ironically, I started by playing the bass and formed my first band during the Rangoonians before "shifting" to guitar. On drum was Ali Setan (Setan = Devil), Azman on keyboard and myself and_juana on bass. -------------------------------- ----------------- My Humble VT Meet Session My First VT Meet VT Meet @ Coffee Bean Wheelock

| | My favourite own band - Back 2 Basics (B2B) Back 2 Basics was formed way back in year 1993 and we won the first prize during the Rolling Good Times national TV grand show in Singapore in year 1994. The band broke off 2 years later after being together and performed in clubs such as Braniggan (Hyatt) now known as Brixx, JD's (used to be beside Centrepoint) and other small time pubs. This picture was taken back then outside SBC (Singapore Broadcasting Corp) waiting lounge, Caldecott Hill before once of our performance. Thereafter SBC changed its name to TCS (Television Corp Singapore) and now Mediacorps. Band members (from left): Winston (Drummer) Miguel (Singer) fendy (myself on guitar) Marshall (Bass)4 |
A WOMAN'S POEM Comes The Dawn After awhile you learn the subtle difference Between holding a hand and chaining a soul, And you learn that love doesn't mean leaning And company doesn't mean security
And you begin to learn that kisses aren't contracts And presents aren't promises. And you begin to accept you defeats With your head up and your eyes open With the grace of a woman, not the grief of a child
You learn to build all your roads on today Because tomorrow's ground is too uncertain for plans And futures have a way of falling down in mid-flight. After awhile you learn that even sunshine burns If you get too much. So plant your own garden and decorate your own soul, Instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.
And you learn that you really can endure... That you really are strong and you really do have worth. And you learn and learn~with every Goodbye you learn - heartwarmers4u | | |
