We arrived by bus at the Bay area about 4.30pm so the light was starting to go and it was very cold. There are regular buses from the central bus station to the bay area, approx. every 15mins. a number 6, 8 & 35. We got city day traveller tickets £3.50 so we could get on and off buses all day.
The 1st sight of the new Welsh Millennium Centre was impressive and as it got dark it became even more impressive. Unfortunately lots of places were closing when we arrived so we were limited where we could go. I had wanted to visit the Norwegian Church but it had closed for the day. Also it was so cold we didn't spend as long as we had intended walking around.
Inside is just as impressive it would be great to see a show here.
www.wmc.org.uk. Roald Dahl Plass must be lovely when it's warmer.
Unfortunately we just missed getting in here. Opening times 9.30am ~ 4.30pm weekdays or 10.30 open on weekends.
