Timhotel Montmartre (20-22 Rue Ravignan.): Friendly with excellent location Timhotel Montmartre Review

We received a fantastic welcome from the staff, they found out it was our 25th wedding anniversary and upgraded our room. Rooms on the 4th and 5th floor have views of Sacré Coeur so i was a little disappointed that we were on the 2nd floor, so imagine my surprise when 1 hour before we checked out i looked up instead of across the square, and there was the basilica just visible over the building opposite.
Can't tell you what the breakfast was like as we decided to take an early walk each morning and had breakfast in one of the many boulangeries with the locals. Ever had a bowl of chocolate for breakfast?
Next door to the hotel is the site of Picasso's studio, most of it was destroyed by fire in the 1970's, but there is still something to be seen. The square itself is quiet and only a short walk from Abbesses metro station on line12. Beware leaving this station, there are many steps, especially if you have luggauge with you as we did, look carefully and you will find the massive lift up to the top.
This hotel group is a small chain with approx. 16 hotels across the city.

Directions: 5 minute walk from Abbesses metro station. Leave station going right along the road, after few metres the road splits take the right hand fork then go up some steps.
