I feel in love this Paris many years ago and get withdrawal symptoms if we don't visit every couple of years. Each visit reveals new sights many off the usual tracks. I confess to only getting as far as level 1 on the tower, I hate heights. Last visit in honnour of the Twin towers victims- a month before our trip, I went up LA Defense. Eyes shut all the way up & all the way back down. I admit the views were fantastic, but I had to hold on so tight!
One of my favourite places is Pere-Lachaise cemetary, the draw for me is Jim Morrison, but there are so many others to visit. You can get a map from the main entrance. If you are expecting to see the famous Jim bust on his grave you will be disappointed, that went years ago. Jim is easy to follow just follow the graffitti, and dont forget your josh sticks.

There is a corner dedicated to the Jews and the second world war. It is very moving, I couldn't bring myself to photograph many of the sites.

One of those quirky bits to Paris. Outside St. Eustace Church, in Les Halles district, it was being renovated when we visited.
