There are some indigenous tribal people who live their life as if in the Paleolithic age. You can learn about the tribes by visiting the Anthropological museum in Port Blair. This museum does not allow pictures to be taken. The Marine Museum in Port Blair also has information of tribal and allows pictures. Ask around in the shops and you can get a video CD recorded by Anthropologist of the remote tribes.

I am used to going on dive trips on boats that cost tens of thousands of dollars. Going out for the dive on this dugout dingy really added to the charm of an Andaman dive.
