Stopped for a sleep and a meal We were driving from Brisbane to Sydney. We spent the day in Brisbane and then drove that evening to Byron Bay. Checked into a local hotel and ate dinner there. The food was amazing and so was the place.
We had breakfast the next morning, checked out the lighthouse and the area and then drove on as it was raining and not worth going to the beach.
Still, we will make Byron Bay a place to go visit for more than a night just based on the time we were there. |

kooka3 Tue Oct 18, 2005 20:36 UTC Nice page! Good shot of the lighthouse - I had a great couple hours sitting by there writing postcards and watching for whales/dolphins! | Gwynneth Tue Jun 21, 2005 04:48 UTC Rain, hail or shine... Byron is so unique... glad you got to see it even if it wasn't the best weather.
