Lush, green, cool, and breezy - not always how one would describe San Antonio, so my experience was a pleasant surprise. A 30-minute river cruise was a delightful way to get a guided tour along the Riverwalk as it prepared for Fiesta. |

Remembering Climbing up from the Riverwalk through a modern shopping area graced with numerous variations on manmade waterfalls, I emerged at street level directly across from the Alamo, as the last sunset glow was fading from its facade. | | |
