Popular beach resort in the Gulf of Siam Pattaya is located about 120 km east of Bangkok on the Gulf of Siam. A two-hour car ride took me to Pattaya where I stayed at the Pattaya Marriott Hotel. The sun, sea and beach beckons you in Pattaya. During the day, Pattaya beach is dotted with tourists soaking in the sun or enjoying a traditional Thai massage. Water sports abound - you can take a banana boat, water scooter or try wake boarding. |
