Bangkok - city of angels

Bangkok is only 2 hours by flight from Singapore. With numerous flights out of Changi Airport on full service and budget airlines, what could be more convenient than to take a weekend escapade to the city of angels? In spite of the pollution, the noise and the perennial traffic jams, there is some charm in all this chaos. I enjoy sitting by the Chao Phrya River watching the packed river boats sail by. Navigating my way through Chatuchak weekend market is an experience by itself.

Sounds crazy about the taxis! I will be on a cruise ship stopped for 2 days in Bangkok and I'm trying to decide if should spend the night in town or on the cruise ship. The cruise starts in your home country of SG. Can't wait to get there!
