I've been to Ko Phangan for the famous full moon party twice, each time staying for a week. I've been to other islands in Thailand (Samet, Phi Phi) and if you're looking to lose your mind for a few days and party until the sun comes up Ko Phangan is for you!

Pros and Cons

Pros:Great beach parties, tons of travelers, great times
Cons:A bit overcrowded at times, Hat Rin not the place for peace and quiet
In a nutshell:If you're looking for a party scene south Ko Phangan is for you...
