In a very good condition, this Qasr was built by the Caliph Wallid II (Ummayad) approx. 743 AD. The works was still in process when the caliph was murdered.
Consequently, the works stopped and the Qasr was never really in use. |

I gather you've been to Jordan's desert castles; option of renting a car w/english-speaking guide/full day at US$140. is it worth the cost? thanks |
