Qasr at Tubah Travel Guide: 1 reviews and 9 photos

In a very good condition, this Qasr was built by the Caliph Wallid II (Ummayad) approx. 743 AD. The works was still in process when the caliph was murdered.
Consequently, the works stopped and the Qasr was never really in use.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:In the middle of nowhere
  • Cons:need a 4X4 and a ranger to guide you

    I gather you've been to Jordan's desert castles; option of renting a car w/english-speaking guide/full day at US$140. is it worth the cost? thanks
