City Away From the City...

Bukit Tinggi...well, lets just say that its a peaceful and quiet place...
And certainly different from the bustling sounds of the city of Kuala Lumpur...
Located around 60km from KL, this small township, made into a modern day french village is on the way to the famous Genting Highlands, Malaysia's version of Las Vegas... : ) Okie, okie...not like Las Vegas, but at least it has a few casinos...

The town is around 3500ft above sea level and is generally cooler than my lovely KL...
Certainly a place to unwind and relax...

You are luckier than me... can see entertainers along the street and the spa/ botanic garden open. When I was there, the street was so desserted and the spa/ garden under renovation :(

the name of bukit tinggi, remind me of a nice place in my country >> bukittinggi in west sumatra. i was there by the end of 2003. thanks a lot to visit my egypt page. i'll let you know whenever the page is completed :) hugs for happy new year!!! @ri
