Melaka Hotel Tips by savitha

I didn't stay at Hotel Puri as it was all booked because of the holiday season during Xmas...
Since I heard so many talk about the place, I made sure that I made a visit to the hotel when I was in Melaka, and Hotel Puri didn't dissapoint me....

Fantastic Place, i loved the grand piano sitting in the lounge... and it had a great ambience...
You can have cold beer ( especially in Melaka HOT weather ) in their cafe located in a small garden inside the hotel...
I guess the strongest characteristics Puri has is its surroundings..Certainly deserves 2 thumbs up...
Shall make sure i book earlier next time...

Century Mahkota has service apartments starting from RM230 for a one bed room apartment...

The only complaint I had was the water temperature in the bathroom was kinda low, so, it took us sometime to actually get off bathroom..Called up the management but nothing was done as they needed a plumber to rectify the matter...Guess the plumber was away on a holiday... :) nevertheless, we all managed to take our baths, smelling good the entire time there... :)

Unique Qualities: The single room came with a tv set, sofa, balcony, queen size bed, a small kitchen with refridgerator and a kettle to boil water..

Our room faced the swimming pool...
