Welcome 2007!!
Tick Tock...Tick Tock...Time and Tide waits for No Man ( or woman! )
Last I updated this page when I returned from Sandakan...Much has happened till then...I went managed to visit Turkey and next week, I'll be packing my bags to China/Hong Kong!
This is the first trip ( well, maybe not... ) that I am not prepared for...I booked the tickets last year through my favourite, "Everyone Can Fly" Airline-AirAsia and totally forgot about it till recently...
Well, I'm sure it'll be a blast...
So, China/Hong Kong, here I come! :)

Writings from the past....
Just a couple months back, I sat in this same chair, welcoming 2007.
Jan & Feb passed in a blink of an eye and now, I'm just staring at the month of March passing by me...
Managed to come back from Sandakan without any leech bites, but managed to save my travel buddy from 3 leeches...She must have the
'sweetest' person in the jungle as she seemed to be the favourite "host" for the wonderful leeches... :)
Anyway, Sandakan is a beautiful place...To be more exact, Kinabatangan is a place hidden from the bustling city and nestled in the middle of the lucious jungles of Borneo.
Somehow, most of my friends who know I'm going there are basically questioning my decision on even going to Kinabatangan when I can actually go somewhere else outside Malaysia...
See, here's the deal...Makes no sense to go around the world and not even know what's in your backyard...So, to those who are wandering, hope this answers your questions and join me in this wandrous adventure
of discovering our own homeland.
For those who are new to hearing Kinabatangan, its basically one of the 2 places in the world which has at least 10 species of Primates in the world.

Please take your time to browse through the pages and give me any comments if you wish. Thanks and Happy Travels to all!
Below are some pics on some places I've travelled and what I like about them..Enjoy!!
As promised, I returned the the sacred land of Bali in 2006... Will return again!
This picture was the 1st picture I put up in my homepage, and can't seem to get enough of it....So, I guess you all have to bare with this picture until I get fed-up of it... :)
I choose to put Tanah Lot@Bali as the main pic in my homepage because this is my first overseas trip after starting my first job...
Hard earned money went to a good cause!
My first trip to Bali certainly would not be my last...
Bali is a mystical land and I certainly got hypnotized by its beauty and its wonderful people...
Bali, I will be back!!
An Annual event I refuse to miss....World Music is something that amuses me till this day...How a different beat of music and language can bring people from all walks of life and backgrounds to gather in one big field ( actually 2 ) and share the passion on music?
Well, beats me, but heck, its fun and music is food for the soul!
Kanchanaburi was an unplanned trip..and I am glad I took the decision to take a ride to this memorable place...
Revisiting a World War II brings back memories, both sad and daunting memories...I didn't live through the World War, and I am glad I missed out that era...But my grandparents went through it...So, I have some recollections on the Japanese and the happenings during this depressing period.
Bangkok is a fun, loud, noisy, jammed up city...It offers great food, even greater shopping experience and the epitome of it all is the deep Buddha teachings which is reflected in almost every important building structure in Bangkok.
I always never fail to amaze myself...
I can hardly get myself out of bed at 6.35am on a normal day, but managed to wake up wee hours in the morning just to watch the magnificent sunrise at Angkor!
And, It was certainly worth waiting for...When I arrived at the ruins area, I could barely see the 5 peaks..As I walked closer and closer, the vision became more clearer and as the sun rose, the whole picture became crystal clear..
And I understood why people from all around the world would wake up at that insane hour, to catch on of the most magnificent reflections of the sun on a structure so immense , that it impresses anyone and everyone who casts their eyes upon it!
Shi Huang Ti , the First Emperor of China would not have thought that after centuries, what he built would be the interest of archeologist and every tourist from around the world...
