Have been to Dubai many times and have always enjoyed myself. Have always stayed with friends form India so haven’t had much opportunity to sample the hotels but have been in a couple of them. Some of the world’s best hotels are at Dubai and for a price you can like a king. Apart from that Dubai has all the facilities for the tourist. However its not a place where you can mentally relax. Dubai is a place to spend money. Be it shopping, eating or visiting the various entertainment complexes or even the wadis. But one thing is sure you will definitely have fun. There are places for families, children and even for the single male or female. For kids you have place like the wild wadi which is an amazing water park with lovely rides and water based fun. Also a visit to any of the mall will have plenty of places for kids to play around which allows parents plenty of time to shop. Some of such malls are the City Centre.
Food is varied in Dubai. You can have Arabic, Indian, Chinese, Turkish, Lebanese, Moroccan, French you name it. There are so many places that you can eat and there are plenty of cheap stalls restaurants and your last resort McDonalds or Pizza Hut and plenty of such places for everyone.
It is also the main commercial hub in the middle east and has all the top multinationals represented here. Although an Islamic country it has opened itself to people of different religions with an open mind. I have always felt comfortable here and never had any problems as such. Dubai is a place for every one and if passing by a stop is a must. |
