    • Lucy Maud Montgomery (1874-1942) fans won't want to miss the chance to pay their final respects at the author's burial site. Even though Montgomery died in Toronto, she was buried in the place she loved the most on earth: her Island. The Cavendish cemetery is located at the intersection of Routes 6 and 13. Montgomery's grave is very easy to find.
