Surfs Up!

Gateway to the Great Ocean Road, Torquay is at the beginning to the Southern coast road between Victoria and South Australia, Melbourne and Adelaide. Where all the big surf brands begin and can be bought and not far from the Iconic Bells Beach. Torquay is the place to begin your drive on the Great Ocean Road Wave.

It is evidently one of Australias big surfing capitals, with its beach culture influence everywhere. The surfing & beach theme dominates the shopping. It is also home to Surfworld, the worlds largest surfing museum.

Torquay is located only 22km south of Geelong and has a population 5,000. The town is a haven for surfing and is the home for the surfing brands of Ripcurl and Quicksilver. Bells Beach is home to world class surfing competitions every easter.
