I only spent one day in Ottawa, but thanks to VTer Laurie-Ann, I got a very comprehensive tour of the city and felt like I got a good sense of this city rich in history, waterfalls, monuments, and beavertail pastry. I can't thank you enough, Laurie-Ann. |

MrBill Wed Feb 9, 2005 13:12 UTC Sounds like you enjoyed Ottawa, too? However, in the only pictures of you in Canada so far you are eating? Don't they feed you enough Tex-Mex down where you come from? ; - ) Bill. | rwlittle Mon Nov 29, 2004 04:24 UTC Ah Beavertails! Havne't had those in a long time! Glad you got to try them out... | L-A Mon Aug 16, 2004 15:38 UTC Beavertails - the flavour of the yummy dessert you're describing to the now hungry VT'ers, is "Killaloe Sunrise!" (named after Killaloe, a pretty hamlet in upper Ottawa valley) |
