It is a small, rural town with a population under 5,000 and a need for growth. Within WIllcox, there is little for one to occupy him or herself with. There are several festivals throughout the year, such as Rex Allen Days, Wings Over Willcox, and Warren Earp Days. During the rest of the year, you can go to the Rex Allen Theater and choose from two titles to view, play a couple of games at Willcox Bowl, or swim at the City Pool.
Surrounding Willcox, you can do a lot of good sightseeing in areas like Dos Cabezas, Mt. Graham, the Willcox Playa (dry lake), Chiricahua National Monument, Cochise Stronghold, and Fort Bowie. My personal favorite is the Chiricahuas--it's a whole heck of a lot cooler in temperature, the rocks are really neat to see, and its such a change from the desert below.

- Cons:Small, often boring, not a whole lot going on
