Why would one want to go to Pisa ? | Cathedral and the Leaning Tower |
That's probably one of the stupidest questions ever asked, no ?
Pisa is most famous for the Leaning Tower. I decided to travel to Pisa during my recent visit to Milan. The entire trip can be done within a day but if you have time to spare, I suggest you stay in Pisa overnight.
Pisa is pretty laidback town and there is no need for you to rush.
The highlights of the Pisa trip were :
1. Leaning Tower of Pisa
2. The Cathedral
3. The Baptistery
I could've seen the other churches and monuments but I was rushing to catch the train back to Milan, so had to skip the rest.
The only regret I have is that I couldn't stay for the night in Pisa because watching the Leaning Tower at night would've been a memory that would never have been erased from my mind. |

I had been to Pisa only for a couple of hours, so I only saw the tower + Baptisterio+ Cathedral. Is there anything else worth visiting? Thanks. |
