Welcome to London!

Millennium Bridge - you have to see it!
I live in London, one of the most exciting places in the world. There's always something to do, and I'll be sad to leave because I'm going to university up north in October. The best places to shop are High Street Kensington (the wonderful Urban Outfitters and a massive H & M), and Covent Garden (Miss Sixty and all the shoe shops you'll ever need). The best clubs are found in WC1, WC2, and EC1, and its always great fun to check out the gay scene in Soho, because its full of really eccentric young people, TV celebrities and 80s popstars. If there's one thing you do when you come to London, whatever age you are and whatever you're into, I suggest you take a friend and walk by the river in Central London at night. You can walk past Parliament, the London Eye, the Tate Modern, and over the pedestrian bridge to St Paul's. It may seem like a very tourist thing to do, but even native Londoners love it, and you don't really risk crime unless you wander out to less central areas like Lambeth. London is always a great place to go for any kind of meal you can think of. The entirety of Brick Lane is lined with competing curry houses, and there's a Yo-Sushi near the London Eye, as well as the obligatory Italian just about everywhere.

Happy Birthday, Charlotte. Nice view of Millenium Bridge and St Paul's dome. Have some western UK shots on our page. Greetings from John and Gail in NJ

Hahaha, forget the "maternal instinct" and make sure they know HOW to read that map ^O^
